Someone once said, “family time is like a fine wine, it gets better with age and the more you have of it, the more fun you have”….just kidding, that someone was me…just now. But it’s true! The more time that I spend with my quirky little family, the better it gets and the fun just goes on and on! It’s ironic,  when I was a teenager, I couldn’t wait to get out of the house and start my own life somewhere far far away from Nipomo. Now, I find myself longing to go back! I dream about popping on over to my parent’s or sister’s house to have dinner, watch a show… just to hang out! You can’t really do that when you are 4 hours away; so any time we get to all be together it is such a blast and a treasure!

Some of the highlights of this short vacation were: renting a house with a pool and jacuzzi, bike riding through the oak lined bike paths of Ojai, watching my mom ride a bike, lounging all day by the pool and laughing all the while. My family is super fun and I am truly blessed to have them! I hope one day to live close to them, but for now, memories of time spent together and these photos will have to tide me over.
